I

've never been one to say no to a good shot of sake - heck I even love to cook with  the stuff. So it's with great *hick* satisfaction The Foreigner presents our latest   feature story by Daren Epstein, Sake 101: How to Enjoy Japan's National Drink.

Did you believe that James Bond shtick that all sake has to be heated? Think again. Looking for a few good brands to whet your whistle? Epstein has just what you're looking for.

Also new this week is a series of interviews featuring Foreign actors at the Canadian Embassy involved in a Canadian production entitled The Domino Heart. The article, City Transplants & their 'Domino Hearts' is by TFJ writer Dom Pates, who took to his assignment with a lot of energy. His use of description at the beginning of the article nicely sets up the interviews that follow.

Though I have to admit, I think it's quite possible to become a "true Tokyoite". Probably need an ethnicity change though, (and who's got the money for that...).

We've got a lot of great new writers - and some old favourites - that will be jumping off the screen in the next few months, so grab your favourite bottle of sake and stay there where I can see ya.
