Mostly inspired by a (now) friends' street pictures of New York City, I started taking snaps of Tokyo exactly a year ago. Tokyo is very different to NYC in many ways and I wasn't sure what I wanted to show or how I wanted to portray it. I just pointed a camera at things and people that interested me and pressed the button.
After fumbling around in the dark for a few months, a common thread started to become obvious and I just stuck with it. It's still a process. To me, these 12 images taken over the last year are a bit like Tokyo life; random and unorganized.
